Launched on December 2006, FRANCE 24 is the new 24/7 international news channel. Its mission is to cover international current events from a French perspective and to convey French values throughout the world.

FRANCE 24 is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the public-funded holding company Audiovisuel Exterieur de la France (AEF).

The channel counts 520 employees including 260 bilingual journalists representing 35 nationalities. The editorial team is trained in new technology and multi-media tools.

FRANCE 24 has over 1,000 correspondents throughout the world, be they FRANCE 24 correspondents or journalists from a network of parteners with whom the channel has signed cooperation agreements (France Télévisions, TF1, RFI, GRN...)
